Key Responsibilities
Pre-Implementation
- Conduct pre-deployment site readiness assessments, including network, hardware, devices,
and IT infrastructure. - Review center-specific workflows, staffing, and operational requirements ahead of the visit.
- Coordinate implementation timelines with center leadership, IT staff, and internal teams.
On-Site Implementation & Configuration - Lead on-site installation and configuration of the software at each dialysis center.
- Verify hardware, network connectivity, device integration, user access, and data flow.
- Configure center-specific settings, workflows, user roles, and permissions.
- Validate all software modules required for go-live, including data accuracy and system
performance.
Training & Enablement - Train nurses, technicians, nephrologists, and administrative staff on day-to-day system use.
- Develop or tailor training materials, quick-reference guides, and escalation procedures for each
center. - Confirm that clinical and operational workflows align properly with the software before go-live.
- Go-Live & Validation
- Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and go-live readiness checks with the center team.
- Troubleshoot issues in real time on-site; escalate unresolved technical problems to engineering
or support. - Obtain formal sign-off from center stakeholders confirming the site is ready for go-live.
Post Go-Live & Reporting - Provide hypercare support for an agreed period after go-live to resolve early issues quickly.
- Prepare deployment reports, issue logs, and sign-off documentation for each site.
- Share field feedback with product and engineering teams to improve future rollouts
Skills/Experience
- 2-4+ years of experience in healthcare software implementation, hospital/clinic IT deployment, or clinical operations support.
- Demonstrated ability to work confidently and respectfully with both clinical staff (nurses, technicians, physicians) and IT teams.
- Solid understanding of workflow mapping, end-user training, and issue tracking.
- Working knowledge of networks, connected devices, login/access management, and system validation basics.
- Strong documentation, organizational, and project-coordination skills.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to nontechnical audiences.
- Comfortable with frequent travel, including overnight and multi-day trips.
- Valid driver’s license [and passport, if applicable] for travel to assigned sites.
Qualifications
- Background in healthcare technology, biomedical engineering, clinical operations, or hospital system implementation.
- Experience with dialysis center workflows, renal care, or other specialized medical device
software. - Familiarity with HIPAA, ISO, or other audit-oriented healthcare compliance environments.
- Prior experience managing go-live and hypercare activities across multiple sites.
- Bachelor’s degree in health administration, life sciences, biomedical/clinical engineering, IT, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
